Job Description:

JOB TITLE: Product Specialist, Surgical Division
REPORTING TO: Field Sales Manager (Surgical)
TERRITORY: Leinster
LOCATION: Dublin based or surrounding counties (max. 45 min commute)



We are currently looking to recruit a Product Specialist for our Surgical Division to cover the
greater Dublin area.

The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, ambitious and dedicated with the
ability and drive to grow existing business and develop new business.

Key Requirements


• Proven sales calibre, sales growth driven
• Ability to meet frequently with customers and other decision makers
• Ability to travel frequently throughout assigned territory
• Ability to travel abroad for training
• Previous sales experience within Medical Device sector is desirable
• Experience including sales in a theatre setting is an advantage
• Excellent numeric skills and a problem solver using data
• Good negotiator with ability to sell across multiple specialties
• Highly developed interpersonal, networking and influencing skills
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with others
• Proven experience in managing pressure, deadlines and setbacks efficiently while maintaining
commitment despite opposition
• Excellent written, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft® Office
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong personal drive
• Flexible hours to accommodate surgical cases
• Full clean Driver’s licence

This is a high-end sales role but full training will be provided.

They will be meeting with top Consultants so we are looking for someone professional
Also, important to note that they must have the ability to travel throughout the assigned territory and will also be required to travel abroad for training on occasion.

Similarly, flexible hours are required to accommodate surgical cases which may have early starts.


Key Responsibilities will include:


• Generate profitable territory sales in line with annual, quarterly and monthly sales targets through
a combination of appropriate activities with existing and potential customers
• Establish strong working relationships with a range of senior health professionals
• Demonstrate an excellent knowledge of the product range and a sound understanding of the
associated medical discipline
• Provide technical training and support to medical personnel on the use of the medical devices as
required


Salary:                                 €50,000 base. €20,000  bonus potential  (€5,000 per quarter)
Pension:                              Available on successful completion of probation
