Job Title: Head of Quality and Processes - Radiography
The Head of Quality and Processes (HQP) is responsible for the design and management of all governance, quality, regulatory and information governance and technology activities across the Company
The HQP is also responsible for managing the IT functions in the Company including IT governance, compliance, data security, contract management and system/project deployment.
Location flexible as there will be travel - ideally Limerick or Dublin or the surroundings.
Salary approx €80,000 (depending on experience), with a company car and bonus.
Ensure the safety for the patients, service users and staff.
Continuously develop the quality management system to ensure efficient and accessible alignment with regulations, best practice and operational requirements.
Manage the implementation and operation of the quality management system.
Manage incidents and complaints with the objective of minimising future incidents and complaints
Act as the line manager for company’s quality and IT staff.
Develop and manage the IT and RIS/PACS infrastructure to support the company’s strategy and operations.
Be a member of the senior management team and take joint responsibility for the financial performance of the company.
Requirements for the Role: A Bachelor’s associated degree or equivalent education and experience 5 years’ experience in a clinical setting - ideally Radiography Demonstrated ability to build close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and extensive experience of influencing decision making, drive and buy in to and ownership of initiatives Demonstrated leadership ability, proactive development, motivation and engagement skills Proven ability to o Work effectively at all levels in an organisation o Focus on predefined goals and deliver results Demonstrated report writing skills Demonstrated presentation skills
Requirements for the Role:

Duties and Responsibilities to include:
Ensure the operations are safe for patients, service users and staff.
On-going management of the Quality Management System to ensure it meets the international accreditation standards and ISO 9001:2015 criteria that is necessary for successful accreditation and certification.
Management of the overall quality and governance strategy for the Company including risk, health and safety, information and technology governance, regulatory compliance, medicines management and clinical governance (to include quality improvement, auditing and clinical effectiveness) to ensure a quality service is being delivered to the service users.
Document control including policy and procedure development and implementation.
Assisting in tender responses from time to time.
Consulting on patient safety issues and providing recommendations to reduce risks associated with same.
Development and ongoing monitoring of patient safety structures, including safeguarding of adults and children.
Ensuring compliance with legislation including, but not limited to, Health and Safety, radiation safety and data protection.
Development and measurement of quality key performance indicators and ensuring that appropriate systems are in place to support this.
Communication with service users as required and to receive feedback in relation to the care and services delivered.
Communication of quality objectives with staff.
Management of relevant quality related training needs and delivering training.
Line manager for Quality and IT staff.
Writing technical and management systems reports.
Prepare business plan for proposed quality of IT initiatives.
Contribute to annual budget planning
General Duties to include:
Perform such other duties appropriate to the post as may be assigned from time to time to the HQP.
Ensure the highest standards of quality and ethical principles.
Compliance with all Company policies and procedures and health and safety principles.
To actively participate in continuing education and research activities consistent with the role.
Maintain good communication channels will all levels of staff throughout the organisation.
Ability to work in a challenging environment with changing priorities
Must have solid proofreading skills and excellent writing skills
