Clinical Nurse Manager - Care of the Elderly - Dublin

This company seeks a Clinical Nurse Manager for it's care facility in Dublin.

Assisting the Assistant Director of Nursing and the Director of Nursing, you will facilitate the management and care of residents on a daily basis, with particular focus on the company's policies and procedures and the Health Information and Quality Authority Standards.

Key Reponsibilities:

• To coordinate and lead all nursing activities within the residential setting
• Develop individual care plans in collaboration with the nurses and ensuring they are updated monthly and carrying out care plan audits
• To act as a resource and liaison for clinical staff and other disciplines
• Provide support and supervision to clinical staff with respect to their roles and responsibilities.

The ideal Nurse will:

• Be a fully qualified Nurse
• Hold current and up to date An Bord Altranais registration
• Have a minimum of 5-6 years Clinical experience, some of which to be in an elderly setting
• Have Care of the Elderly experience
• Have Staff/ Man Management/ Leadership experience
• Have some working experience/ knowledge of HIQA standards and procedures
• Experience in Dementia Care/ High Dependancy Units/ Spinal Injury Recovery

This is a permanent full time Clinical Nurse Manager job
