With the massive economic difficulties and ever increasing unemployment we are now encountering due to our recession our stress levels are at an all time high.

A huge proportion of people suffer from back complaints arising from their jobs ie. Nursing jobs which are an extremely physically demanding job.

This in turn leads to hefty medical bills as we try to alleviate our aches and pains.

So how can we help ourselves?

Research shows that yoga can help control and manage a number of common ailments including anxiety, arthritis, asthma, back pain, blood pressure, depression, diabetes, epilepsy, headaches, heart disease and one very prevalent complaint in today’s society – stress.

The benefits of yoga are numerous:

  • Improves circulation
  • Lowers fat
  • Improves muscle tone, flexibility, strength and stamina
  • Stimulates the immune system

And that’s only the beginning ….
